Video released to promote Eight Minutes Idle

by MartinBooth on 07-Dec-11 15:07

A new video has been released online to promote Eight Minutes Idle, the second film to be made under South West Screen's iFeatures slate.

Bristol-based filmmaker and YouTube legend Ben Dowden and kiddy-disco-punk pioneer Kid Carpet have joined forces to promote the smart new comedy Eight Minutes Idle, currently in post production.

The beautifully shot video features Dowden's single-take style as Kid Carpet performs Last Word on his trademark ensemble of children's toys.

Last Word is featured on the soundtrack to Eight Minutes Idle, shot in Bristol earlier this year and currently in post-production.

Based on the book by Matt Thorne and starring Tom Hughes (Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll), Ophelia Lovibond (No Strings Attached), Antonia Thomas (Misfits), and Montserrat Lombard (Nathan Barley), the film is set in a call centre in the Bristol and is set to be released in 2012.
