Bristol Media is one of the largest creative networks in the UK with over 1,900 members. Our aim is to support and develop the creative & media industries of Bristol by :
The Bristol Music Foundation (BMF) is run by music industry professionals in Bristol and supports the development of music businesses and musicians in Bristol and the South West of England. The BMF is dedicated to encouraging partnerships and networks in the region and connects regional music forums across the South West via the South West Music Forum to provide a joined-up approach to activity, share ideas and knowledge, and raise the profitability and international profile of the music industry in the South West.
Creative Bath
Creative Bath is the new group for creative people and industries in and around Bath. Our primary aim is to raise the profile and help the growth of Bath's creative sector by creating a forum for networking and knowledge exchange.
Cornwall Media Focus is a membership organisation open to anyone working in media in Cornwall. We aim to facilitate the development of a new media cluster for Cornwall, enabling our members to develop knowledge, contacts and skills which will help their businesses to compete more effectively.
The Gloucestershire Media Group is the support network for the county's media and creative industries. It's main aim is to help creative business grow and making the GMG a one-stop-shop for any media related activity in the county.
The network exists to bring together people engaged in the creative and media industries to share ideas, build up skills, develop their businesses, identify funding and tendering opportunities, forge new partnerships, celebrate achievement and hence promote talent, growth and prosperity of one of the county's most exciting and fastest growing business sectors. We do this by offering our members advice, sector related news, relevant information, industry-led training and Masterclasses and a range of networking and social events including a fortnightly Newsletter.
We currently have 650 members that work in or are closely connected to the creative and media industry in Gloucestershire.
Plymouth Media-Partnership
Plymouth Media-Partnership (PM-P) is supported by the South West Regional Development Agency (www.southwestrda.org.uk) through South West Screen (www.swscreen.co.uk) and by Plymouth City Council (www.plymouth.gov.uk) .
The objectives of PM-P are:
South West Design Forum is the voice of design in the region. We are the lead body for strategy and communication and aim to reflect and drive the aspirations of the whole sector throughout the seven counties of the South West, at the highest level. The South West Design Forum connects and shares ideas between sub-regional and cultural agencies, national design bodies, higher education institutions and other key public and private sector organisations.
The Swindon Media Group exists to bring together people engaged in the creative media industries in Swindon - film, TV, radio, animation, community media, corporate video and promotions, design, graphics. The group is free to join and aims to support and promote its members through its website, training and promotional events and seminars, business development and incubation, networking and mutual support.
WMG is a creative network providing its members with information, advice and support to help them grow, develop, access new markets and become more profitable.
Monthly events allow members to meet commissioners, funding agencies, industry practitioners and to network with other creative media businesses.
Membership is currently free.
