Lottery funding

Between 2002-11, we were one of the UK Film Council's regional partners, that distributed funds from the National Lottery here in the South West. 

Our support was focused on projects which could help us achieve our aims:

  • Influencing opinion – to shape the decisions and policies which impact on the creative and media industries
  • Raising awareness – highlighting the importance of the creative media industries to the economy and culture of the South West
  • Investing in creative people – helping professionals, newcomers and young people expand their skills and horizons
  • Providing investment - supporting talent, encouraging innovation and helping develop new ideas
  • Connecting people – we put people, businesses and organisations in touch to enable effective training, networking and knowledge-sharing
