South West Screen is the first point of contact for anyone working in the creative media industries in our region. Whether you are a website designer in Gloucester or a gaming developer in Penzance, a would be animator in Bristol or a seasoned producer from Swindon, you can come to us for access to training, funding and support.
Our team has a wealth of experience ranging from production to training and business development across the broadcast and digital media industries. We are well placed to comment on industry trends, campaign on the issues that matter and devise support programmes to help you. We work with partners and cluster groups across the region, providing information, training, funding and connecting people.
South West Screen is changing. We are one of the regional screen agencies that are becoming part of Creative England, the new agency supporting Film, TV, Games and Digital and Creative Services in the English regions. It is our ultimate aim to roll into Creative England, but we will not be closing our doors just yet. From 1 October 2011, our responsibility to distribute Lottery funds for film projects in the South West transfers to Creative England. We will continue to deliver our non Lottery projects as part of Creative England, including the Creative Industries iNet, The Bottle Yard, iFeatures, White Horse Pictures, the European Creative Business Network, industry bulletins, our online community and jobs board.
