What we do

Whether you’re an animator or a games designer, whether it’s your job to produce, to direct or to design, and whether you work in film, broadcast, digital media or - as is increasingly the case - across all three, we’re here to represent your interests and to offer you useful support and advice.

If you're already working in the creative media industries, we have support and resources to help you take you and your business to the next level. And if you're just starting out, you'll find useful information, contacts and advice to help you grow and develop.

We want you to feel like part of our community so please spend some time on the site and familiarize yourself with the sort of support we can offer. And make sure you sign up to receive our fortnightly e-bulletins which have details of all our opportunities as they’re launched.

In the last year alone we:

  • helped more than 2,000 companies directly
  • registered £62 million in inward investment through filming in the region
  • created / safeguarded more than 150 jobs
  • registered 1,618 filming days
  • leveraged more than £4 million of match funding resulting from our investment
  • made awards worth £816,000 and direct investments of £833,000
  • kept 3,600 people informed of the latest relevant news and opportunities through our e-bulletin
  • reached 68,000 people through our website
